Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Compensation Range: $41-46 Location: LaPorte, IN; Onsite – School Setting Position Summary: This position will focus on a Pre‑K through elementary‑aged caseload, working with young learners to build foundational communication skills. In this role, you’ll work directly with students to implement therapy plans and support their academic and social development during critical early years. You’ll be part of a collaborative special education team with access to supervision, structured support, and manageable caseloads. Contract Details Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Schedule Shift details: School Day Schedule Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week Contract length: School Year Key Duties Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by a licensed SLP Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision Support Pre‑K and elementary students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress Prepare therapy materials and assistive communication devices (including AAC) Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom Maintain service logs and documentation in compliance with district and Indiana state requirements Participate in team meetings and professional development as appropriate Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology / Communication Sciences and Disorders Licenses & Certifications Required: Current IN SLPA License Compliance with Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) and applicable state regulations Valid Driver’s License Skills Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students Experience in a public school setting Familiarity with IEP processes Experience supporting students with diverse communication needs Cultural competency working with diverse student populations Benefits Temporary (Hourly) Roles Comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision Company‑paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long‑Term Disability for employees working 30+ hours/week Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws Benefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work location Employees 21+ can participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan RCM Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
