Contract | Days | 4x9.5 Hours (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures including TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
• Participate in on-call requirements, including weekend on-call shifts approximately 2 times per month
• Float to the Main OR as needed after 2:30 PM based on staffing and census needs
• Adhere to assigned schedule and fulfill any missed shifts within the same pay period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required at time of submission
• NIH certification required at time of submission
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (weekend on-call, approximately 2x per month)
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays unless otherwise specified

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical environments and related instrumentation
