Project Cost Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Collaborating with various business units, the full-time Project Cost Accountant will manage financial and project analysis, oversee full-cycle project accounting, and support energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in a hybrid role based out of Framingham, MA. Key responsibilities: Provide accounting support and solutions for project cost and WIP analysis Drive the billing and invoicing process using Microsoft D365 for contracts Conduct monthly project workbook reviews, analyzing project status, costs, and forecasts Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in project accounting Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills Strong grasp of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis
