As a Bellperson/Valet, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, providing a warm and friendly welcome.With your vibrant personality and excellent communication skills, you will ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, respond to inquiries, and address requests and concerns promptly and professionally. Your role as a Front Desk Host/Valet is crucial in shaping the overall guest experience, leaving a lasting impression and ensuring their visit is nothing short of extraordinary. Looking for someone with flexibility in their schedule, must be available weekends and holidays. Previous hospitality customer service experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. As part of the leadership team of The Madrona you are an extension of Mosaic Hotels and Restaurants' unique edge to deliver uncommon hospitality.WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A BELLPERSON/VALETThe Bellperson-Valet will assist guests with their luggage and show guests to their room as well as drive and park vehicles in a safe manner as directed by the manager. You will ensure that a great first impression of service is presented to our guests. A presentable appearance as well as a customer service focused demeanor will be essential for this role.If you have a passion for delivering excellent service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication and organizational skills, we invite you to join our team. ARE YOU THE BELL PERSON/VALET WE'RE LOOKING FOR?REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours.• Previous guest service.• Guest and customer service focused.• Friendly and welcoming demeanor when dealing with guests and/or co-workers.• Speak with others using clear and professional language.• Excellent attendance.• Attention to detail.• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• High School diploma.• Valid Driver's License.• Driving/DMV record must meet minimum qualifications for coverage underproperty liability insurance policies.• Ability to work a flexible schedule and ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Previous customer service experience preferred. The Madrona is a part of Mosaic Hotel Group; a collection of award-winning, boutique hotels, each providing an immersive experience for the modern traveler.
