Sr. Business AI Architect, Finance- (Hybrid- Seattle, Washington) As an integral part of a new Corporate Analytics team, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting data to improve decision making around customer experience projects in Nordstrom. This individual should have a high degree of curiosity about the business and the skills to discover impactful insights from data. They should be able to communicate those insights in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value. **This role is Hybrid in downtown Seattle, WA and will require you to be in office 4 days per week. A day in the life… Contribute to the development and evolution of our data warehouse and BI analytic platform Partner with business stakeholders toward delivering highly effective self-service BI solutions Respond to fast-turn BI analytic requests from a wide variety of business partners and demonstrate consistently high analytic and reporting output productivity Partner with the BI Manager and Center of Excellence leaders on building a best-in-class suite of tools and reporting mechanisms to bring the most salient, insightful data more directly into key business functions Provide a constant flow of new and innovative ideas into the BI roadmap Act as the liaison to our IT partners to ensure that the data structure and quality effectively support the BI team’s near and long term strategic needs You own this if you have… Master's degree in quantitative field or equivalent corporate experience 3+ years of corporate experience writing advanced SQL (Teradata, MySQL preferred), performance tuning BI queries, and developing automated data reporting 3+ years of corporate experience building advanced Tableau Dashboards for ongoing measurement and self-service needs 2+ years of scripting for automation (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.) Experience leveraging AWS for both data warehousing and query/process automation The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws.
