We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a community-focused primary care practice serving rural populations. Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This provider practices within scope and collaborates with supervising physicians as appropriate within a team-based care model.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
• Clinic hours vary based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and health education
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Support quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives

Compensation

• Competitive base salary based on experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• National certification from approved governing body
• Active Maine NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR and ACLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care model
