Allen Branch Member Service Representative - Full Time with Sign-On Bonus

Job Title: Branch Member Service Representative (MSR) Location: Allen branch, 404 E. Stacy Road, Allen, TX 75002. Salary: $20.00/hour + sign‑on bonuses: $250 on first paycheck, $500 after 90 days, $500 after six months. Bilingual Spanish/English certification earns additional $2.00/hour. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality, prompt, and courteous service to members, prospective members, and RBFCU team. Process a variety of transactions across in‑person, video conference, drive‑thru, and telephonic engagement channels. Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory laws. Engage members and prospective members through consultative, needs‑based conversations, actively listening, asking open‑ended questions, and demonstrating empathy to uncover financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services while consistently meeting or exceeding minimum sales goals. Support RBFCU sales culture, ensuring branch standards are achieved by reinforcing best practices, modeling consultative behaviors, and maintaining a high level of self‑accountability to performance expectations. Perform in the capacity of Branch Reservist, taking calls for the Member Service Center to handle incoming requests from members via this channel. Assess all deposits for potential fraud and each interaction for impersonation to mitigate fraud losses. Assist members and prospective members with needs that involve other internal departments such as Consumer Lending, Mortgage, and Credit Union Service Organizations, while complying with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory laws. Qualify members and assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts, maintaining a current working knowledge of the RBFCU Membership and Account Agreement. Prepare various teller reports and escort members into designated areas when requested. Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements High School diploma or GED. At least six months of work experience in a financial institution, customer service, or sales (preferred). Attendance and promptness are essential; must be able to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule. Must be able to cover staffing at any location within the region, including branch transfers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to solve problems, make timely and informed decisions, and apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Proficient in utilizing PC, software, and other office equipment. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity; able to reach with hands and arms and speak clearly. Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
