Veterinary Technician - Emergency

Description CARE Veterinary Center is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Emergency team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD. About You You’ll play a critical role in pets' lives by delivering fast-paced, end-to-end care for emergency patients. Your life‑saving work will range from hands‑on triage, monitoring critical cases, and performing advanced diagnostics, to essential support services including coordinating admissions, managing overnight treatments and ensuring safe patient transitions. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred Must have availability to work Overnight Experience in an Emergency setting strongly preferred Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care) Possesses a positive work attitude Self‑motivated Excellent communication and organization skills You’ll Grow With Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
