Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring patients are correctly positioned, and passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgery is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
