Operating Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts will be rotating from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM every 2-4 weeks. There is no call required, but a stay-late schedule may be necessary to ensure cases are completed.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with strong backgrounds in total joints and ENT. The RN will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing surgical cases in a multi-specialty environment. Experience in urology, podiatry, hand-orthopedics, plastics, and pacemakers is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the surgical setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Circulate and scrub for various surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications:

• Strong experience in circulating and scrubbing for total joints and ENT surgeries.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic - OpTime is preferred.
