You'll work alongside our production, engineering, and field teams to load, unload, and stage essential materials for assembly, as well as prepare crucial equipment for site set-up. What You'll Do as a Material Handler:

• Load & Unload Deliveries: Safely receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials, parts, and equipment, and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Material Preparation & Staging: Move, organize, and stage materials and components so assembly teams have exactly what they need, when they need it.
• Equipment & Site Set-Up: Transport, prepare, and stage equipment and gear required for field site installations and set-ups.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment: Expertly maneuver forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), overhead cranes, and hand trucks to move heavy or bulky items safely around the facility and staging areas.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Track incoming and outgoing stock, update inventory records, and maintain accurate location labeling in the warehouse.
• Warehouse Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and secure load handling.

Skills and Experience

• Proven Experience: Background in material handling, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or staging materials in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks) and pallet jacks (manual and electric). Formal forklift certification is a strong plus.
• Physical & Hands-On Capability: Comfort working on your feet, lifting heavy equipment/materials, and maneuvering large, bulky components safely.
• Detail & Inventory Focus: Sharp attention to detail for verifying shipments against purchase orders, tracking parts, and accurately managing inventory counts.
• Safety-First Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, PPE compliance, and maintaining a secure work area.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Great communication skills to coordinate effectively with production schedulers, mechanical assemblers, and field set-up crews.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to changing daily staging and delivery priorities.
