As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Thu 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy concerns, and potential loss-prevention issues. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
