Job Description

Seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Surgeon with an additional certification in Surgical Critical Care to join a collegial group of surgeons at Providence Regional Medical Center Everetts growing Trauma program. This established, acute-care surgery service is one of the busiest in the state, while the Level II trauma service continues to grow with over 4000 patients in the 2026 registry. Position Details:

• Full-time; flexible shift-based schedule
• 157, 12-hour shifts per year
• The surgeon will cover 12-hour day and night shifts as the trauma and acute care surgeon or as the intensivist in a dedicated SICU
• Procedures include minimally invasive cholecystectomy/appendectomy, lysis of adhesions, colectomies, and soft tissue procedures

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $492,307 and $537,662 per year
• Sign on bonus and relocation assistance is available

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of surgical experience preferred, but new graduates/fellows are welcome to apply
• Double board required - General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• ATLS training required
