Senior Accountant

AccountantAccountant will manage financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees month-end close processes for medical groups, hospitals, or health plans.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting: Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements following U.S. GAAP and statutory guidelines. Healthcare Compliance: Assist with regulatory reports required by health plans and agencies like the Department of Managed Health Care.Month-End Close: Lead close processes, perform variance and flux analyses, and resolve discrepancies.Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external financial audits and compile necessary schedules.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare, managed care, or multi-entity environmentMust be able to work Hawaii Hours (HST)Weekly PayContract to hire positionWell-established national healthcare provider companyThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $50.00/hr.
