Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2010 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: PCU experience is not required.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed med-surg PCU unit. Med-surg procedures include Foley care, PICC, IV, IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, PD, and LP. Cares for general medicine patients, including opioid abuse, organ failure, change in LOC, behavior issues, and MRDD/developmental delay issues.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays and some weekends.

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed, including lower acuity units.
