Sync with God is a 501C3, non‑profit ministry, to unleash life‑changing online discipleship groups on one virtual screen video chat, texting, lessons, journaling, discussions. We simplify Kingdom building, mentoring, and the spiritual growth process while leading more non‑Christians to become Christians, so they don’t leave the faith. Short demo video
Our Purpose: Equipping Christians to bring non‑Christians into the Kingdom of God while growing a worldwide movement of discipleship that Christians live 24/7/365.
Our Vision: To increase discipleship, enhance evangelism, deepen personal connections among Christians, and lead more people to have a relationship with God.
Our Impact: Ending the exodus of believers from the Kingdom of God, spreading the word of God to unreached people groups, and ending the growing drought of disciples, disciplers, and effective discipleship within Christianity today.
Position Overview
The Beta Small Groups Training & Support Coordinator will equip, coach, and troubleshoot for Sync with God’s online small group leaders during the beta phase of our digital discipleship initiative.
What does it really mean to follow Jesus in today’s world? With so many people feeling lonely, burned out, or caught in the chaos of everyday life, the call to make disciples can seem distant or even overwhelming. At the same time, the Church faces its own challenges splits, distractions, and a struggle to connect deeply with both God and one another. In all this noise, the simple yet powerful mission Jesus gave us—to make disciples—often gets lost. Sync your life. Ignite the mission — a global movement equipping volunteers to live out God’s purpose with passion.
Key Responsibilities
- Leader Training: Design and facilitate online orientation sessions for beta small group leaders, introducing digital tools, group rhythms, and facilitation best practices.
- Technical Support: Provide real‑time troubleshooting for leaders encountering issues with video platforms, course access, or communication channels.
- Resource Development: Create quick‑start guides, FAQs, and short training videos to help leaders navigate tools confidently.
- Feedback Loops: Gather and synthesize input from small group leaders to improve training materials and online group systems.
- Community Care: Foster spiritual encouragement and prayerful engagement with leaders, cultivating a culture of grace and growth.
- System Testing: Collaborate with the beta technical team to identify platform bugs or usability challenges and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading or coaching small groups, ideally in an online or hybrid ministry environment.
- Strong technical fluency with online meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and training facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple leader relationships with empathy, clarity, and follow‑through.
- Comfort working with learning platforms, shared drives, and email tools (Microsoft 365 or similar).
- Commitment to Sync with God’s mission of digital discipleship and Christ‑centered community.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Christian education, ministry leadership, or digital community building.
- Experience with beta testing or user onboarding environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Pathwright, Slack, or other learning/discussion platforms.
