Physical Therapist

Central Maine Medical Center seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment to diverse patient populations in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. You will perform comprehensive assessments, design and implement individualized rehab plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes. Leveraging CMHC's culture of safety and respect, you will educate patients and families, document progress in EMR, and contribute to quality initiatives while growing professionally in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to diverse patient populations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on care plans Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention Document assessments, progress notes, and outcomes in EMR accurately and timely Participate in performance improvement, safety, and quality initiatives Provide mentorship to support staff and students as appropriate Required Skills Orthopedic physical therapy Neurological rehabilitation Post-surgical rehab planning Functional mobility training Gait and balance training Therapeutic exercise prescription Patient assessment and documentation Pain management modalities Electronic Medical Records (EMR) use Interdisciplinary care coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr
