Construction Project Management Team Lead

Role Overview Interior Construction-Team Leader / Corporate Real Estate – responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception through completion. Ensures projects delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and workplace standards while managing stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop comprehensive project plans and supporting presentations, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements Oversee all phases of construction projects from design through closeout Ensure alignment with business objectives and operational requirements Lead coordination with APM Team, Shared Services and other relevant WPS functions Budget & Cost Management Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Monitor expenditures and implement cost‑saving measures where appropriate Review and approve contracts, invoices, and change orders Recommend cost and evaluate pipeline projects for capital plan cycles Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders for moves, changes, and build projects Manage external consultants, contractors, and vendors Facilitate regular governance meetings, ongoing reporting and provide status updates to leadership Schedule & Risk Management Define project deadlines for APM team and track alignment to target Develop and maintain project schedules and track progress against milestones Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively Address issues and escalate as needed to maintain project momentum Procurement & Contracting Manage bidding processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or related field 5‑10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects Experience with corporate office, workplace, or large‑scale real estate projects preferred Technical Skills Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar) Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost tracking Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive accountability Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills Success Measures High stakeholder satisfaction and effective communication Projects delivered on time and within budget Compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards Effective risk mitigation and issue resolution Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $95,600 – $162,400 USD (base pay) Benefits include retirement (401k, pension), health and welfare, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, voluntary well‑being benefits, and discretionary bonus program with possible equity component Working Model Hybrid – balanced model with time in office and working from home.
