About the Role

You arrive on an industrial site, crack open a set of isometric drawings, and translate line numbers and take-offs into precise cuts, fits, and weld-ready joints. You read the space, plan a route with or without printed drawings, account for obstructions, and bring a process system to life. This is the daily craft of our Industrial Process Piping Fabricator.

Working across carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC, HDPE, and copper, you’ll assemble process and utility piping, install valves and specialties, and leave the job better than you found it—with tools maintained, materials organized, and work executed to spec.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret sketches, arrangement drawings, and detailed isometric drawings to execute accurate layout and fit-up.
• Clean, bevel, prepare, and install pipe with the correct fittings and weld joints for each specification.
• Plan piping layouts and install systems with or without prints, routing lines safely around obstructions.
• Perform layout, rigging, and transport of pipe, valves, and fittings across the site.
• Install pipe, related materials, and equipment to support process and utility services.
• Inspect the work area to identify and address obstacles before installation begins.
• Cut pipe with grinders, band saws, and beveling torches; thread pipe using a threading machine.
• Secure pipe runs to structure using brackets, clamps, and hangers with hand and power tools.
• Load, move, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials and workpieces during installation.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, ready-to-use condition.

What You Bring

• Uncompromising commitment to safety and PPE, including safety glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses, and any site-required gear.
• Willingness to travel as projects require and to work overtime when needed.
• Tool and equipment proficiency: pipe threader, burning torch, grinder, porta-band, chain falls, hand tools, fork trucks, and high-reach equipment.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and controls following defined procedures.
• Comfort with repetitive motions common to fitting and fabrication.
• Ability to climb and access steel framework, ladders, and elevated work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–7 years of hands-on pipefitting experience in industrial environments.

• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
