Summary:

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care and other related technical and clinical support activities.

Responsibilities:

Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls.Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information.Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.Complies with privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating with callers and guests.

Additional Job Information:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Work Experience: Three (3) months of patient care experience demonstrating the ability to perform basic patient care or certification of completion from formal training program required.

Other Information: **EKG and phlebotomy competencies are required within six (6) months of hire date.
