Weld supervisor Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in various welding techniques, along with the ability to oversee production processes and ensure high-quality standards. This role requires effective leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily activities of MIG Welders/fabricators and delegating job responsibilities to appropriate employees Train and motivate staff to meet demanding manufacturing requirements and schedules Assist with tasks as necessary to complete assignments Test products/equipment for defects/malfunctions Work in a safe manner Communicate changes and updates to employees on processes and procedures Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing facility on the shop floor for minimum of four (4) years Ability to measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in compliance with engineer or sales specifications Previous experience working with and reading blueprints Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve a variety of situations on the shop floor Previous experience working with steel a plus Previous experience leading shop floor employees and motivating them to complete jobs in a timely manner and accurately to specifications Must be detail oriented to meet the needs of our customers Join our team as a Welding Supervisor where you can apply your expertise while leading a dedicated group of professionals committed to excellence in manufacturing.
