Registered Nurse - ICU

$1591.20/week - Job Summary: The travel RN ICU provides specialized critical care to patients in the intensive care unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and compassionate care. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and adherence to hospital standards to support patient stabilization and recovery. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor critically ill patients, interpreting vital signs and diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately and timely in electronic medical records. Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, providing life-saving interventions when necessary. Educate patients and their families about care procedures, treatment options, and post-discharge instructions. Qualifications: Valid RN license applicable in Texas. Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Demonstrated ability to manage critically ill patients independently.
