Electrical Inspector

Job Title: Electrical Inspector Location: Hobbs, NM Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $70.00 - $71.50 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 50-hour work week, 7 AM – 5:30 PM Per Diem: $178/day Responsibilities Provide oversight to EPC contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements for a solar farm project. Offer technical recommendations on electrical activities during construction, including low and medium voltage work. Oversee field connections to solar panels and tracker systems, ensuring wiring and connections meet standards. Verify that all electrical work complies with safety regulations, standards, and specifications. Maintain safety oversight, ensuring activities adhere to safety protocols and best practices. Coordinate with multiple contractors and construction managers to facilitate project progress. Support the project’s successful and safe execution by conducting daily site inspections and ensuring proper wiring and functioning of electrical systems, including inverters.
