Project Manager

About Us C-B Gear & Machine, Inc. is a fast-paced manufacturing company specializing in custom gears, machining, gearbox repair, and precision industrial components. We support critical industries with high-quality manufacturing, engineering coordination, and rapid turnaround capabilities. We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded Project Manager to oversee manufacturing projects from quotation through delivery. This position requires strong communication, scheduling, customer coordination, and operational leadership skills in a machine shop/manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Manage customer projects from RFQ to final delivery Coordinate between engineering, production, vendors, and customers Review drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements Track production schedules, deliveries, and job progress Communicate lead times, updates, and technical information to customers Assist with estimating, procurement, and production planning Work closely with machine shop personnel and outside suppliers Maintain project documentation and ensure deadlines are met Help improve workflow efficiency and operational processes Support urgent/rush manufacturing jobs when required Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, machining, gearbox repair, or industrial operations preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with project coordination, scheduling, or operations management Familiarity with gears, machining processes, or industrial equipment is a major plus Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/shop management systems preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within a specialized manufacturing company Hands-on involvement with complex industrial projects Team-oriented environment with direct impact on operations and customer #J-18808-Ljbffr C-B Gear & Machine, Inc
