Work Environment

The rehabilitation facility is designed to support a wide range of physical therapy treatments, equipped with advanced modalities and therapeutic equipment. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, in a culture that values collaboration and shared expertise. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, diagnoses, and long-term goals.
• Effectively employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education, to optimize patient outcomes and recovery timelines.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation protocols, and self-management techniques to foster active participation in their healing process.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and to refine treatment strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with state regulations and facility policies, utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our facility, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes with sports-related injuries, seniors facing balance and mobility challenges, and patients with neurological deficits. By tailoring treatment plans to meet the specific conditions and goals of each patient, you contribute directly to improving their functional abilities and enhancing their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (DPT, MPT, or BSPT) in California.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and a genuine passion for empowering patients to achieve their physical potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Specialization or certification in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, sports therapy, or neurorehabilitation is highly valued.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
