See where your commitment could take you.Who are we looking for?We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team to assist with vendor life cycle, onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, relationship building and contract renewals. Additional responsibilities include the following:Prepare and submit purchase orders for goods and services consistent with contract requirementsReview purchase orders for compliance in accordance with GHD Procurement GuidelinesInitiate and negotiate Framework Agreements with preferred vendorsAssist with vendor onboarding and prequalificationEngaging and discussing Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) with vendorsWork closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirementsNegotiate pricing and business terms and, when appropriate, coordinate with Legal Department to minimize riskAssist with Sustainable Procurement reporting and analysisAccurately enter data in vendor management and procurement systemsLiaise with suppliers regarding delivery of goods and servicesCollaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoicesReview and closeout purchase ordersMaintain Procurement filesCompletes purchasing request and transactionsOur Hybrid Work Model: Be part of the dynamic culture! Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment. The preferred location for this position is Phoenix, AZ but Tucson, AZ and Niagara Falls, NY will also be considered.What you’ll bring to the team:Degree or certification in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferredAt least 3 years of experience utilizing contract management and/or procure to pay systemExperience with Salesforce and BST cost accounting software application is an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Teams, Word and ExcelStrong communication skills and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of contractual agreementsAbility to prioritize and multitaskProactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperationBilingual in English and French is considered an assetSalary Range: $20.93 - $38.75 based on experience and location.As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
