Combine your passion for construction management and healthy living under one roof while building the career of a Life Time.Position Summary As a Project Manager based out of our Corporate Office, you are responsible and accountable for ensuring that each project meets the goal of being first in class, on schedule, at or below budget, safe, and promotes teamwork, communication, leadership and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is the direct point person for the duration of the project with internal and external relationships to ensure the quality of care is executed. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesSafetyImplements collecting insurance and safety requirements prior to mobilizationSupports project milestone safety achievement meetingsImplements a culture to recognize and correct safety infractionsUnderstand the Injury / Incident Reporting GuidelinesQualityResponsible for managing conformance of plans and specificationsCollaborate with field staff to ensure observations, RFI’s and submittals are processed and closed in a timely mannerAssists in managing subcontractors punchlist completionCost ControlSupport maintaining the following:Owner PRsGC BudgetSubcontract COsOwner COsInvoicesRFI & Submittal Cost ImpactScheduling & Site ManagementSupports field team with schedule adherence Supports PM with submittal processing and procurement of all project materialSupport BIM coordination, startup and commissioning, and project closeout schedulesResponsible for material procurement tracking and providing feedback for updating the master scheduleDocument ControlMaster use of construction management software (Procore, Prolog, Blue Beam, Excel) for document control and manage the software to ensure all document management platforms are currentCreate and maintain project matrix for document control using logs, charts, and graphsLead project setup to establish document control Manage the close-out process including collection of documents, organization, turnover and archivingLeadership & TeamworkLead trade contractor meetings and staff meetingsLead and motivate project teamCommitted to a professional development and ongoing learning opportunityLead and provide formal required trainings to new engineers and staffCommunicationUnderstand when to use written communication to make sure all items are well documentedPrepare and sent NTPs (Notices to Proceed found in Procore)Oversee and manage Project Engineers for guidance in communicationProactively identify when to hold meetings to resolve conflictsClear communication with Operations group during project constructionPreconstructionParticipate in pre-bid estimate preparation and review.Active role in Project Launch process and Project Kick-off meetingMinimum Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other CharacteristicsHas assisted running large commercial projects OR successfully managed non-complex projects up to $10M Can track job costs and handle the bid processStrong communication skillsHas worked with subcontractors in change order negotiation and conflict resolutionUnderstands safety for a job siteHas managed submittal and RFI logsCan work with various groups & skill setsCan assist with subcontractor procurement and negotiationTeam oriented Responsible Problem solver Safety awareness Comfortable in a fast paced environment Embraces change Continuous learnerStrong professional brand Articulate & clear communicator Friendly & inviting demeanor Open to feedback for growth EnergeticPhysical/Mental Requirements and Working ConditionsWork is performed in an office setting with travel as necessary.
