THE ROLE

STRIVE Recruitment has partnered with a leading Big 4 public practice firm and one of North America's leading Deals practices on a key hire within its Leadership, Talent & Organization team.

We are seeking an experienced Director with a strong background in leadership, talent, culture, human capital, organizational transformation, or organizational design . This senior leadership opportunity will focus on advising senior executives and organizations through high-impact business situations, including M&A and other complex transactions.

The Director will lead client engagements while managing a small consulting team of approximately 2–4 professionals . They will own project strategy, timelines, deliverables, staffing, budgets, and client relationships, while conducting senior-level interviews and translating complex qualitative findings into practical recommendations.

The Director will also bring a strong commercial lens , contributing to RFP responses, business development, client expansion, and the continued growth of the practice.

Direct Deals or Private Equity experience is considered a strong asset, but is not required . Deep experience in leadership assessment, culture, talent, or organizational transformation is highly transferable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead multiple client engagements, owning project strategy, timelines, deliverables, staffing, budgets, and overall execution.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 2–4 consulting professionals.
• Conduct qualitative interviews with senior executives and stakeholders to uncover meaningful insights and data.
• Synthesize findings across multiple interviews and translate complex information into clear, actionable client recommendations.
• Apply expertise across leadership assessment, talent, culture, organizational design, operating models, and organizational transformation.
• Ensure team analysis and deliverables are polished, insightful, and client-ready.
• Work closely with Partners and Managing Directors on engagement strategy, staffing, and project economics.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to RFP responses, business development, client expansion, and other commercial initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and create additional value.
• Contribute to thought leadership and the continued growth of the Leadership, Talent & Organization practice.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 9+ years of experience in management consulting, human capital, leadership & talent advisory, organizational transformation, organizational design, or a related field.
• Deep experience in leadership assessment, culture, talent, organizational design, or organizational transformation .
• Demonstrated experience engaging senior executives and extracting meaningful qualitative insights.
• Proven ability to lead consulting engagements and manage project teams, timelines, budgets, and client deliverables.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience contributing to business development, RFPs, or client expansion.
• Excellent analytical, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and managing ambiguity.
• Genuine interest in building a career focused on Leadership and Talent within a Deals environment .
• Private Equity, M&A, Deals, or transaction experience is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
• Experience within a Big 4, MBB, or leading boutique leadership/talent advisory firm is considered an asset.
