Morgan Hunter is partnering with a large, mission-driven senior living community to add a Director of Life Enrichment to its leadership team. This highly visible role will oversee multiple resident-focused departments and programs designed to enhance quality of life, engagement, and community. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader who enjoys building programs, developing teams, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across multiple resident-focused departments and service areas
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and their teams
• Develop engaging programs, activities, events, and community initiatives
• Oversee department budgets, operational plans, and performance goals
• Partner across departments to continuously improve the resident experience
• Build relationships with community organizations and external partners
• Support marketing and promotional efforts to increase program participation
• Interview, hire, and manage performance of department team members
• Ensure programs meet quality, safety, and compliance expectations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills
• Experience with community relations, programming, or special events
• Experience managing budgets and department operations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, residents, leadership, and community partners
• Experience working with senior adults strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred;relevant experience may be considered
• Marketing or promotional experience is a plus
