Senior Estimator - Heavy-Civil/Infrastructure - Atlanta based

We are partnering with a growing heavy civil contractor in Atlanta that is looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to its leadership team. Key Responsibilities Lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bid submissions Review plans, specifications, and project documentation Develop pricing strategies and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals Manage and mentor a small estimating team Support business development initiatives and client relationships Participate in preconstruction planning and bid strategy discussions Collaborate closely with operations and project management teams Identify project risks and opportunities during the tender phase What We're Looking For Proven estimating experience within heavy civil construction Background in civil infrastructure, site development, utilities, grading, earthworks, or related sectors Experience leading or mentoring junior estimators Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial awareness Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Willingness to work from the Atlanta office at least 4 days per week This role offers the chance to work closely with company leadership, influence major project pursuits, and contribute directly to the continued growth of a well-established civil construction organization.
