Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Provide aerosol treatments and management of Bipap and ventilators
• Rotate throughout all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs
• Assist with intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy
• Participate in daily nursing unit department rounding as part of an interdisciplinary team

Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Current Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Experience in ICU, ER, and critical adult care
• Competency to work with advanced respiratory care equipment
