Seven Healthcare are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in New York, NY. Join a dynamic team providing comprehensive skilled care in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Provide case management and direct patient care
- Administer comprehensive skilled care
- Ensure Care Delivery Services adhere to agency policies and goals
- Promote respectful communication with patients and staff
- Develop and revise patient treatment and discharge plans
- Consult and educate patients and families on self-care techniques
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Coordinate and evaluate quality of patient care services
- Participate in patient care conferences and complete clinical records
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program
- Possession of current OT license to practice in New York State
- Minimum of one-year experience in a Long Term Care/Home Care setting
- Recent Home Care experience (within the last year)
- Working knowledge of Occupational Therapy apparatus and equipment
- Knowledge of community resources and Oasis documentation
