Responsibilities include: Lead all dealership accounting operations Manage month-end and year-end close Prepare and analyze financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and manufacturer accounting requirements Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts Analyze KPIs and profitability trends Recommend strategies to improve financial performance Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard company assets Coordinate internal and external audits Ensure compliance with state, federal, and manufacturer requirements Coach, mentor, and develop accounting team members Partner with General Managers and department leaders to maximize profitability We're Looking For Required 5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong understanding of GAAP Experience preparing financial statements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Automotive dealership accounting experience Controller or Assistant Controller experience CPA or CMA designation Experience with CDK or other dealership management systems Multi-franchise or multi-location experience Benefits Competitive salary Paid Time Off starting Day One Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer HSA contributions 401(k) with company match Educational reimbursement Book reimbursement Supplemental insurance options Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, service, and accessories Vehicle referral bonuses Career advancement opportunities About Jerry Seiner Dealerships For more than 50 years, Jerry Seiner Dealerships has built a reputation for integrity, teamwork, and innovation.
