Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent – Personal LinesSnelling Staffing is recruiting for a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent – Personal Lines to join a small, established local insurance agency. This is a direct-hire opportunity created by the upcoming retirement of a longtime team member.This is a close-knit, three-person office where customer relationships and personalized service are at the heart of the business. The selected candidate will primarily support the agency's personal-lines customers, including homeowners, auto, boat, and other personal Property & Casualty insurance products.The ideal candidate is personable, professional, dependable, and genuinely enjoys talking with and helping people. Previous insurance experience is preferred, but the agency is open to considering a licensed candidate with strong customer service skills and the right personality fit.Responsibilities:Serve as a primary point of contact for personal-lines customersAssist clients with homeowners, auto, boat, and other personal insurance needsProvide professional and friendly customer service by phone, email, and in personDiscuss client needs and help identify appropriate coverage optionsPrepare quotes for new and existing customersProcess new policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changesAnswer customer questions regarding policies, coverage, premiums, billing, and claims processesCommunicate with insurance carriers and underwriters as neededMaintain accurate client and policy recordsFollow up with customers regarding renewals, coverage changes, and requested informationBuild and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clientsWork collaboratively with the agency owner and commercial-lines agentQualifications:Active Property & Casualty Insurance License REQUIREDPrevious insurance or personal-lines experience preferredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsFriendly, personable, and professional communication styleAbility to connect with customers and build trusted relationshipsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDependable and comfortable working independentlyAbility to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit teamBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn insurance agency and carrier systemsAbility to successfully complete a background checkWhy You'll Love This Opportunity:This isn't a large call-center environment.
