Field Service Technician II

As a Field Service Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Youll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. Youll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Qualifications You Must Have: High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience A higher-level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications Experience using troubleshooting techniques Understanding of electrical wiring concepts Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Qualifications We Prefer: Associates degree in a related field of study Experience with FCC or FCC GROL Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+ Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150 match up to 6, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
