Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and Fetal Echo experience or certification.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Medicine/Obstetrics unit performing high-risk OB ultrasound
• Patient population includes high-risk obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine cases
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week with no weekends or holidays required
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• ARDMS Fetal Echo certification preferred; candidates with fetal monitoring experience without certification will be considered with documentation or recommendation
• BLS certification required
• MA state license required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skills in OB/GYN imaging across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester
• Experience with amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screening, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
• Experience with inter/intra-orbital measurements and multiple pregnancy imaging preferred
• Fetal Echo imaging skills preferred
• Experience with transvaginal and renal/pelvis imaging preferred
• Experience assisting with amniocentesis preferred
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

• Perform ultrasound imaging for high-risk obstetric and maternal fetal medicine patients
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
