2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday (plus overtime as needed)
Regular Pay: $22.52 / hour and higher!
$2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift
The Blast Operator focuses on moving and blasting castings and plays an important role in the foundry production process.
Responsibilities may include:
Cut off or knock off gating and risers when needed
Operate a 12-ton crane
Empty hoppers and sandbags from dust collectors
Load and unload trucks
Shotblast castings for cleaning and shipping
Roll over castings using an overhead crane or forklift
Perform other duties as assigned
Willingness to learn new skills
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Strong attention to detail
Team player
Self-starter
Strong work record in safety, quality, and dependability
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
