Experienced or Senior Program Management Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Huntington Beach, California. Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3: Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases Conducts supplier assessments Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance Evaluates elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 4: Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases Conducts and guides supplier assessments Develops current and projected work statement Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders Develops and executes work movement plans This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study) More than 3 years of experience in program management within supplier management More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
