Schedule & Details Schedule: 7 pm – 7 am, Night Shift, Full‑time Department: Family Care Unit (Mother Baby) Location: Brunswick Medical Center Skills: Level II NICU experience to support our youngest neonates Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for both mother and newborn Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition Collaborate with OB providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing and postpartum experience Advocate for individualized, patient‑centered birth plans while ensuring evidence‑based care Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4‑Year / Bachelor’s Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, a Board‑approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One year of RN work experience, required. Level II NICU experience to support our youngest neonates, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the appropriate state, required. Why Choose Novant Health?
