Professional doctors office looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, personable person to join our team. Attire is Dark Blue Scrubs and environment is drama free/team oriented. This position will work in the front office with:

• Verifying of Insurance on patients
• Collecting payments and balancing
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Be courteous to older patients that might need additional help
• At times wipe down counter and help with kitchen
• Ability to multitask under pressure and handle difficult patients with grace
• Good set of communication skills or Customer Service experience
• Good Spelling & Grammar skills for email communication
• Good attendance and be on time daily
• Courteous to all staff and patients alike
• Professional environment, but also a team oriented one

Job duties include:

·         answering phones

·         scheduling patients

·         checking patients in

·         collecting copays

·         outstanding balance payments

·         verifying insurance benefits

·         making sure the EMR Chart is correctly updated prior to the appointment. 

Must have excellent customer service skills, proper communication etiquette, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of some medical billing is desired to be able to answer general patient questions.

Salary is based on experience, $20 - $22/hr, working Monday through Friday (35 to 38 hour week) Full benefits.
