CABLE TECHNICIANS – DATA CENTER

High‐Volume | Fast‐Paced | Immediate Need

We’re hiring experienced Cable Technicians to support large‐scale, mission‐critical data center builds . This is high‐count, high‐urgency work for technicians who can move fast, maintain quality, and consistently hit production targets. If you’re strong in ribbon splicing, comfortable in live data center environments, and take pride in output—we want you on this project.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

Based on your experience and resume, you will be aligned to one of the following categories:

• Tech I: $18.00-$22.00/hr
• Tech II: $22.00-$25.00/hr
• Tech III: $26.00-$29.00/hr

Overtime is available— earn 1.5x your standard rate for all hours worked over 40!

Schedule is 12-hour shifts | 5–7 days/week (60–80 hours/week)—meaning 20-40 OT hours/week !

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Required experience per level: 
  • Tech I (Entry/Junior): Entry-level technician who supports fiber and copper installs, assists with cabling builds, and completes basic tasks under supervision.
  • Tech II (Independent): Fully independent technician who installs and tests fiber and copper systems, troubleshoots issues, and completes end-to-end cabling work with minimal oversight.
  • Tech III (Advanced/Senior): Senior technician who executes complex cabling across fiber and copper, performs advanced testing and troubleshooting, and ensures high-quality, large-scale deployments.
• Committed to working 12-hour shifts, 5-7 days per week
• Ability to pass a background check (i.e., no felonies, misdemeanors, or open cases within the last 7 years)
• Valid Driver’s license + reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Working cellphone for daily communication
• Strong reliability and willingness to learn
• Proper PPE: Class 2 Vest, Type 2 Hard Hat, Level 4 cut-resistant gloves

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Pull, route, and stage cable (fiber and low‐voltage copper) through ladder racks, trays, conduit, and raised floors in active data center environments
• Follow cable pathways and drawings to ensure accurate placement and routing per project design and standards
• Support installation of structured cabling systems , including CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A and fiber optic cables
• Cable dressing and management , keeping runs neat, bundled, and secured to data center best practices
• Label cables and assist with documentation to support testing, troubleshooting, and future maintenance
• Perform physically demanding work , such as lifting cable reels, climbing ladders/lifts, and working long shifts in mission‐critical environments
