Summary Provides general Medical Assistant assistance to Hematology and Oncology physicians and advanced practice providers in an outpatient setting in the clinic or in infusion. The staff member demonstrates competency in applying principles when providing individualized care to medical oncology patients. Responsibilities Certification requirements: CPR‑preferred Age‑specific care provided for: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft Outlook (and Epic, if applicable) Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must effectively communicate and deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public Must be flexible, possess personal integrity, and function effectively as a team Must follow written and oral instructions Will be required to travel to satellite offices Requirements Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED At least one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting Other Requirements CPR‑preferred Age‑specific care provided for: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Travel to satellite offices required Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Epic (if applicable) Compensation USD $18.66/Hr. to USD $30.79/Hr.
