Orthopedic Technologist - $29-38 per hour

Orthopedic Technologist Location: Hamtramck, Michigan – Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Overview Perform orthopedic technical duties under the supervision of qualified personnel, including use of traction equipment, cast application/removal, operating room assistance, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and related tasks. Responsibilities Apply and remove casts and traction equipment. Assist in the operating room. Maintain and calibrate orthopedic equipment. Ensure adequate inventory and supplies. Support patients during assessments and procedures. Perform other related duties as directed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with coursework in basic science and anatomy. One to two years of experience in related patient care activities. Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with medical and nursing staff. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for handling instruments. Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, push, pull, and lift during daily rounds. Benefits Sign‑on bonus up to $8,000.
