Open Rank: Assistant, Associate Professor Clinical Scientist Full‑time Dermatology Clinical‑Scientist position in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The faculty member will develop a research program, see patients in the clinical practice, and engage in teaching and service responsibilities. Work Location Onsite – Aurora, Colorado. Clinical duties performed on the UCHealth Dermatology campus. Responsibilities 25‑50% clinical: 2‑4 weekly clinics or equivalent inpatient consult coverage. Treat new and returning patients at the main campus clinics. Supervise trainees in research and conduct clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in departmental and institutional committees as needed. Maintain an academic focus and engage in scholarly activities. Qualifications MD/PhD, MD, or DO degree. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Dermatology. Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Colorado. 0‑4 years of experience (Assistant Professor); 4‑7 years of experience (Associate Professor). Current research funding to support research effort (preferred). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all institutional levels. Strong ability to build relationships with academic, clinical, and industry partners. Compensation and Benefits Assistant Professor: $220,000 – $280,000 Associate Professor: $240,000 – $300,000 Medical, dental, and vision plans.
