Job Description

• Design Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized treatment strategies that help them achieve their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach individuals and their caregivers about therapy methods that encourage continued progress outside of sessions.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Monitor patients' developments and modify care plans as needed to ensure they remain on track towards recovery.

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are actively encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
