Medical Assistant - Full and Part Time Options Available Job Tracking ID :512527-879021 Job Level :Entry Level (less than 2 years) Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for a talented Medical Assistant to step into our fast-paced facility! Summary: The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with preliminary patient care in a sensitive manner. Ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a high-volume setting. Hours: The full-time position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday - Friday with at least one late shift per week. Position Responsibilities/Duties: Greet and room patients, conduct initial patient interview Record patient vital signs and initial patient complaint(s) Select and prepare proper instruments for procedure(s) Collect specimens, glucose testing Assists physicians with exams and treatments Performs antiseptic duties of sanitation, disinfections and sterilization procedures Maintain supplies in each exam room Perform other tasks as assigned by the DON, RN, LPN Experience and Skills: Position Requirements: At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or primary care setting Diploma or certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Active RMA or CMA CPR/BLS through the American Heart Association Familiarity with medical terminology Excellent verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. provides a rewarding and challenging work environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and a very competitive benefits package which includes: a healthy work/life balance, generous paid time off, paid holidays, competitive wages, Tuition Assistance Program, 403(b) Retirement Plan with company contribution, Medical, Prescription, Dental, and Life Insurance.
