Machinist
Set up, program, operate CNC/manual machines to manufacture parts.
Duties And Responsibilities
Operate complex set-ups for machinery safely and efficiently within close tolerances from drawings with minimal supervision
Comply with all safety, quality (ISO), and company policies.
Effectively communicate with supervisor and other shop team members.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
Produce first article parts and make necessary adjustments (programming-offsets-tooling) for a quality part.
Can perform math and read G&M codes.
Effectively troubleshoot fixtures, machining, and programming issues to correct
Proficiently use measuring instruments with an emphasis on detail
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Document measurements taken from machined parts to meet quality standards
Experience
Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
