Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU (MICU) travel assignment in Fortuna, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for several weeks. Shifts are 3x12-hour days. Work in a 4-bed acute care MICU serving adults and geriatrics with Epic charting required.

- Weekly pay: $1,816-$1,910 per week

- Unit/setting: Medical ICU (4-bed MICU) in an acute care environment
- Travel assignment with no guaranteed hours
- Orientation and onboarding components included

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric ICU patients
- Manage ventilated patients, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP as part of standard care
- Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips; monitor hemodynamics and ABG interpretation
- Provide central/PICC/port care, arterial line management, IV therapy, and phlebotomy
- Administer blood products and support lines, suctioning, chest tube assistance as needed
- Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Interpretation Services; document in Epic

Requirements
- Active California RN license (pending license accepted per posting)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- RTO: no more than 7 days
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
