Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and ongoing re-evaluations; monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results
- Administer IV fluids, medications, and other therapies; respond to emergent conditions promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including histories, treatments, patient responses, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and meet ACUTE care standards
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certifications, and education requirements as outlined by local administration and regulatory agencies

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform age-appropriate care and to interpret patient data for timely decisions
- Strong nursing documentation skills and knowledge of current medication administration practices
- Ability to meet credentialing and regulatory requirements for the assignment
