Overview
Registered Nurse, Corrections – Wallkill, NY. This travel temporary assignment starts 09/28/2026 and runs for 26 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,436 to $2,512. Shifts are rotating 3x12-hour blocks. No guaranteed hours. Setting: corrections.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 medication administration, including diabetic monitoring, with careful documentation.
- Evaluate and respond to medical emergencies; care for patients admitted to siderooms; manage injuries; perform occasional in-draft assessments and infirmary or hospital return assessments.
- Transcribe provider orders accurately; review and prepare charts for the next day’s appointments.
- Prepare for transfers to other facilities or hospitals; coordinate with the care team to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document findings in the charting system; communicate updates to the supervising clinician.

- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night)
- Willingness to participate in a 26-week travel assignment
- Capability to work in a corrections setting
